when you drop 60K on a vehicle, it really should not totally break down in 500 miles. No one at Porsche, dealer or central customer service seems concerned. I would be hesitant to recommend this vehicle.

UPDATE: The problem was a simple, but an inexcusable one and I am very disappointed in all aspects of Porsche customer service. It seems that the cars are shipped with the battery terminal disconnected and this needs to be reconnected at the dealer. The battery is under the seat, so it's not as simple a procedure as it would seem. It was connected, but badly, and it came loose.

Anyway, the dealer where the car was towed was not the selling dealer and they had precious little incentive to check out the problem ... so it sat there for 5 days! I called Porsche customer service in an attempt to help expedite the situation, but they refused to contact the dealer or get involved. I think their function is limited to sending out brochures.

They promised that a someone from Porsche headquarters would call regarding the problem, but I'm still waiting, and its been a couple of weeks.
